It's A Boy!!!

Elliott Matthew Kent was born today, August 3rd, at 8:04am. 8lbs 12oz, 21 inches, good scores, good cries (of victory!), even a bit of hair - though not nearly as much as his big sister. Everything looks great so far!


PS: Let's just get one thing right out on the table: Elliott is not named after the band Elliot. He's not officially named after anybody. The name is a derivative of "Elijah" which, of course, means "The Lord is God" or even "The Lord is my God." Because that's what this kid's going to be declaring every day of his life.

    We liked that name for our girl but we were afraid that people would think we named her after the band. So that's funny that you addressed that (and obviously that name is off the table for us now) ;-)
    he looks pretty perfect!!
