Just a short video we made this morning.

Time Flying By

Goodness! It's already been three weeks since I came onto the scene. They've been good, I'm learning to make the most of my time (more looking around, less crying . . . but not a lot less). I'm growing up quick!

8 Days

If we were Jewish, Elliott would have spent the day at the temple getting dedicated and . . . so forth. But we're not. He's doing great, Mom's doing great, Gracie is doing great as a big sister, and Dad is just loving it all.

24 Hours Later

Elliott is a whole day old! He slept great his first night, made some squeaks and cries when he was hungry, but he calms down so easily. I guess with all that lightning this weekend, it wasn't too crazy for it to strike a second time with our second kid!




That last one kinda looks like a beach muscle pose! Super-strength does run in the Kent family, of course.

It's A Boy!!!

Elliott Matthew Kent was born today, August 3rd, at 8:04am. 8lbs 12oz, 21 inches, good scores, good cries (of victory!), even a bit of hair - though not nearly as much as his big sister. Everything looks great so far!


PS: Let's just get one thing right out on the table: Elliott is not named after the band Elliot. He's not officially named after anybody. The name is a derivative of "Elijah" which, of course, means "The Lord is God" or even "The Lord is my God." Because that's what this kid's going to be declaring every day of his life.
